Chemistry Technician - Contractor

Zeno is seeking a highly motivated Chemical Technician to support the efforts of developing and bringing to market Radioisotope Power System (RPS) technologies. In this role you will :

• Perform daily experiments under direction of Project Lead Chemist
• Assist with documenting experimental procedures, hazards assessments, and results
• Assist with literature searches and technical documentation
• Prepare bulk solutions and in-house chemicals.
• Prepare calibration standard solutions and samples for instrumental analyses.
• Stock and monitor laboratory supplies.
• Assist and support the Hardware lab and the Chemistry lab.
• Support EH&S to ensure a safe working environment.
• Help manage and facilitate chemical waste collection.
• Assist with instrument and equipment maintenance and calibration.
• Support Zeno Power Systems Safety Culture.

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated pay band for this position is $30-$45 / hr . The final job level and compensation will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, years of relevant experience, skills, qualifications, certifications, and other business considerations.
