Job Summary :

The Registered Nurse will provide skilled nursing care, case management, and hospice care to individuals facing advancing age, frailty, and serious illness. Daily tasks include patient assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. The RN will care for Tele patients boarding in the ED and float to other tele areas / units as needed.

Location : Tarzana, California, United States

Responsibilities :

Provide skilled nursing care to patients.
Perform patient assessments and develop treatment plans.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and team members.
Float to other tele areas / units as needed.

Required Skills & Certifications :

Active Registered Nurse license in the state of working.

ACLS certification.

BLS certification.

NIH certification.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital, home health, or hospice care setting.

Clinical Assessment, Medication Administration, and Treatment Planning skills.

Interdisciplinary Team Collaboration skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills & Certifications :

Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.

Special Considerations :

Must be able to float between like units.

Every other weekend is required.
