Overview

Under the supervision of the Manager of EVS, the incumbent in this position is responsible for smooth and efficient cleaning operations in public areas and top-quality guest service.

Responsibilities

• Creates an atmosphere that induces guests to make Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati their choice for gaming entertainment; responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations and acts as a mentor to team members in order to provide superior guest service.
• Prepares work schedules and assigns projects as necessary to ensure cleaning standards and guest service standards are met.
• Performs supervisory duties such as coaching, corrective counseling, motivation of staff, providing assistance in hiring, establishing training programs and conducting training as necessary and conducting team member evaluations.
• Conducts detailed public area inspections to ensure adherence to quality and production standards and to identify problems.
• Recommends adjustments to departmental procedures to more effectively service the guest.
• Resolves problem situations to ensure total guest satisfaction.
• Prepares daily reports and promotes effective communication both internally and with other departments.
• Conducts detailed property inspections to ensure adherence to departmental policies and to identify problems.
• Resolve guest problems / requests to ensure total customer satisfaction.
• Attend and participate in meetings, completing follow-up as assigned.
• Perform work regularly and predictably.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

This knowledge and these abilities are typically acquired through a High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 to 3 years of housekeeping, custodial, or janitorial supervisory experience. An Associate’s Degree preferred.
