General Summary :
Assists pharmacist in daily routine of filling prescriptions and inventory control and assists patients at the counter
Works under the supervision of the Pharmacist
Principal Duties & Responsibilities :
Example of Essential Duties :
1. Assist with filling prescriptions : packages and labels prescriptions under the direct supervision of the pharmacist
2. Pull inventory and count medications
3. Accurately receive telephone orders
4. Run cash register
5. Assist customers
Other Essential Duties May Include (but are not limited to) :
- Place orders with vendors to replenish and maintain adequate levels of pharmaceutical inventory
- Stock merchandise and various food products.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required :
Required :
Education : HS diploma or GED.
Preferred :
Previous experience in a retail Pharmacy
