Tinder is on a mission to spark connections around the world. As part of this mission, we're looking for a seasoned Director of Product to lead one of our most strategic teams-Browse-which owns the heart of the Tinder user experience : the primary swipe flow.
In this role, you'll lead the team responsible for surface areas including the Main Card Stack, Tappy, Game Pad, Expanded Profile View, Filters, and Preferences. You'll drive high-impact initiatives from ideation through delivery and beyond, collaborating with Design, Engineering, and Analytics to ship a roadmap of bold changes that elevate how people connect on Tinder.
This is a hybrid role requiring in-office collaboration three days per week in Palo Alto, CA.
In this role, you will :
- Own strategy, execution, and delivery for Tinder's primary swipe experienceone of the most iconic user flows in mobile apps globally.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with Design, Engineering, and Analytics to deliver high-quality product experiences at scale.
- Lead a team of PMs and contribute hands-on to product development, from vision to specs to shipping and iteration.
- Be the driving force behind the execution of a focused roadmap of transformational product updates this year.
- Partner with stakeholders across the company to ensure your team's work ladders up to broader company goals.
- Help shape the culture and craft of product development at Tinder through mentorship and strategic guidance.
You'll need :
8+ years of product management experience, including leadership roles in high-growth consumer tech.A strong track record building and scaling consumer-facing products; experience in consumer social is a strong plus.Proven success delivering mobile-first experiences with high user engagement and UX quality.Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguity and high-stakes execution.Strong product instincts and the ability to balance strategic vision with executional detail.Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence across teams and levels.Demonstrated ability to drive business outcomes, not just deliver featureswith metrics to support your impact.As a full-time employee, you'll enjoy :

The salary range for this position is $235,000 - $275,000. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education / training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary range is reflective of a position based in Palo Alto, CA. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
