We are hiring for a Hospitalist and a Nocturnist position. Our Hospitalists work 7 am 7 pm, while our nocturnist role requires working exclusively 3 pm 3 am and 7 pm 7 am overnight shifts. Nocturnist candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours

Local Team Collaboration :
- Become part of a cohesive and long-standing team of 15 physicians and 2 APPs with the support of a clinical performance nurse at Beacon Hospital.
- We take pride in our relationship with the hospital and encourage our providers to join hospital committees and participate in medical staff.
- We hold two monthly team meetings, one weekly, to discuss group performance.
Qualifications :

Flexible Scheduling :
The Hospitalis t works 7 am 7 pm in a 7-on / 7-off block.The Nocturnist works a combination of 3 PM - 3 AM shifts and 7 PM - 7 AM shifts in a 7 on / 7 off block.We have seven on / off schedules, but we help cover for our teammates as needed.Key Responsibilities :
Our hospitalists manage the inpatient coverage.The ICU is closed, and our team is not expected to perform procedures or run codes. A rapid response team assists.For those who like to teach, we work with medical students, APPs, and third-year WMU IM residency program residents.Living and Working in Kalamazoo :
