Location : Conroe, TX (GFI Southwest)

Employment type : Full-time

Pay : $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Shift : Night / Overnight

Overview

As a valued member of our dedicated warehouse team, you'll play an essential role in delivering high-quality, specialty food items to our customers. In this fast-paced and physically active environment, your day will be filled with tasks that keep our operation running smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Unload, receive, and place incoming inventory items away.
  • Operate an RF handheld device to scan, pull, and pack items to fulfill orders.
  • View prompts on screens and follow directions for some tasks.
  • Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets for delivery.

Qualifications

Things You Need To Be Able To Do

  • Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Carry up to 50 lbs. Push / Pull up to 30 lbs. of force.
  • Must be able to be exposed to a refrigerated and freezer environment, ranging from 0 - 36 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Able to ascend and descend a step with a height of 10 in. from the floor.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to follow directions, meet deadlines, and be able to work under minimal supervision.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Able to reach and bend.

    • Things That Are a Plus But Not a Deal-breaker

  • Previous warehouse and / or cold storage experience.
  • RF handheld device experience.
  • Pallet jack and forklift experience preferred.
