If that is true for you then becoming a floating caregiver sounds like the perfect opportunity! As a floating caregiver you will be able to work in all of our group homes across Fond Du Lac and provide support to all of our individuals.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with supported individuals
  • Assist with medication management and administration, as needed
  • Support individuals with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
  • Escort supported individuals to appointments and accompany them on outings
  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks and laundry

Requirements

  • Experience working with individuals of varying needs and diagnoses (preferred)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Empathy and compassion for individuals with disabilities or health challenges
  • Ability to follow directions and work independently
  • Flexible availability, including weekends, and holidays
  • Day shift or Overnight schedules

    • Pay

  • Starting at $15.00 / hour on weekdays
  • Starting at $22.50 / hour on Weekends! (Time and a half of weekday hourly rate.)
  • Average starting pay rate of $16.88 / hr (48 hours)-$17.50 / hr(36 hours)
  • Daily pay available!

    • Physical Demands

  • Lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds using proper lifting techniques
  • Perform tasks that involve bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching for accessing spaces and performing ground-level activities
  • Walk, stand, and engage in continuous physical activities during cleaning, maintenance, and outdoor tasks​
