Responsibilities Position is in a 90-bed community hospital setting Role is a Med Surg / Tele float position with required floating between units RN will care for adult Med Surg and telemetry patients Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1 : 6-7 Uses Paragon EMR system Every other weekend shift required Shifts are 07 : 00 AM to 07 : 30 PM A proctored EKG exam will be administered on Day 1 Must be willing to float between Med Surg and Tele units as needed Flu vaccine or signed declination required; mask use mandated if declining COVID vaccine is not required, but proof or declination must be provided Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts during assignment at no cost Requirements Active New York State RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required NIHSS certification required prior to start Completion of 6 CEUs on stroke-related topics required prior to start Minimum of 2 years Med Surg / Tele nursing experience required IV experience required as facility does not have an IV team Must be able to independently interpret telemetry strips Travel experience preferred Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-626043.
