The Outpatient Therapist-Telehealth performs social services functions in the Outpatient Department to include assisting patients in meeting their biopsychosocial needs while enabling them to access through therapeutic treatment skills to achieve their optimal level of emotional health, including providing group therapy, case management, crisis intervention, utilization review, discharge planning, providing information and referrals as needed, and other duties related to delivering a successful program. The Outpatient Therapist-Telehealth is responsible for services delivered through a virtual platform.

Position Hours : Primiarly day shift, 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday, four or five days per week. Flexibility needed to cover evening groups when needed.

Location : This is not a remote work position. The Therapist will office on-site at the hospital and provide telehealth services to individuals who log in remotely.

Qualifications

Education : Master's degree in social work, psychology, or related field required.

Experience : Three years clinical experience preferred. Previous experience conducting therapy using virtual platforms for children and adults highly preferred.

Licensure : LMSW, LPC, LMFT or equivalent licensure required.

Additional Requirements : CPR certification and training in appropriate use of Handle with Care (HWC) and Verbal De-escalation prior to on-the-job training.
