This exciting position provides an outstanding individual the opportunity to design, program and implement control systems for a wide array of automation. Base pay range

$85,000.00 / yr - $120,000.00 / yr

This range is provided by Creative Automation, Inc.. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the mechanical engineers to understand machine function
  • Specify all control hardware including : PLCs, HMIs, servos, VFDs, sensors, pneumatics, safety components, networking, vision
  • Build bill of materials
  • Design control schematic with AutoCAD
  • Ladder logic programming of PLCs
  • Servo sizing and control
  • System integration with other machinery manufacturers
  • In house testing and customer runoff
  • Interaction with customers throughout the design, build and installation processes
  • Travel to customer facility for start up as required, 15% travel
  • Technical support

Qualifications

  • BSEE or associate degree in related field
  • Rockwell CompactLogix programming experience
  • AutoCAD
  • Project management
  • Creativity and problem solving skills
  • Mechanical aptitude
