Job Summary
The HUSC 3 is part of a multidisciplinary team providing services to incarcerated people. Duties include providing assistance with a variety of unit duties and general team support to ACMH Program staff, ensuring patients are scheduled for appropriate assessments and clinics, analyzing and compiling program data for reporting requirements, processing patient health related documents, and providing organizational maintenance of program resources, documents and scheduling.

Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and / or certification if required of the position
- No Minimum Education Required
- 2 years experience in behavioral health or social services setting
- Experience and skills to collect and collate data and create lists and reports.
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Office, e-mail, scheduling and medical record systems
- Experience performing unit coordination and support functions in a medical setting.
- Skills to analyze information and situations, identify problems and relevant factors, formulate logical conclusions and suggest alternative solutions while utilizing available resources.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to convey instructions, directions and information appropriately and accurately.
- Organizational skills to follow established procedures and guidelines in setting priorities to meet deadlines and appropriately handle routine and emergency situations.
- Knowledge of medical terminology
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of the criminal justice system, including the judicial system, state hospital system, forensic mental health networks, Probation, Parole and the Department of Corrections.Key Responsibilities

Adult Correctional Mental Health (ACMH) is a satellite contract program of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science. The program provides mental health services to incarcerated individuals inside the two Sacramento County jails located in downtown Sacramento and in Elk Grove.
