Summary
We are currently representing a well-established and growing general contractor seeking an experienced Multifamily Construction Superintendent to oversee field operations on large-scale residential projects. This role is responsible for leading all on-site activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily on-site construction activities and ensure progress aligns with the project schedule
Conduct and lead weekly subcontractor meetings to maintain communication and accountability
Ensure all work meets construction documents, building codes, and project specifications
Develop and manage construction timelines, adjusting as needed to meet milestones
Coordinate efforts with subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and project stakeholders
Perform regular site inspections to monitor quality and identify potential risks
Resolve field conflicts and provide consistent on-site leadership to crews
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants to address design and construction issues
Maintain accurate project records, including daily logs, reports, and change orders
Track costs, control budgets, and implement financial efficiency practices
Conduct daily safety walks and lead weekly tailgate safety meetings to ensure compliance
Requirements
Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Superintendent in multifamily construction
Strong working knowledge of ground-up and large-scale residential projects
Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Excel, and Word
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications
Strong leadership, time management, and conflict resolution skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines
Budgeting and cost tracking experience required
Familiarity with estimating software is a plus
