CPA Senior Staff Accountant

A company is looking for a Senior Staff Accountant, Structured Finance.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the accounting for new securitizations, loan sales, and new lines of credit

Evaluate new accounting standards and perform accounting research on new business transactions

Complete internal and external reporting duties on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting

CPA required

6 years of progressive accounting experience, with a focus on complex accounting

Financial industry experience, particularly in loan accounting and loan sales

Experience with structured finance and asset-backed or mortgage-backed securities preferred
