  • Develop and manage the annual communications plan, overseeing all related activities to ensure successful implementation.
  • Create and distribute informative content about programs, ensuring effective communication with target audiences.
  • Assess and report on the effectiveness of communication strategies and content to improve future initiatives.
  • Engage with subject matter experts in the production of high-quality external communication materials.
  • Promote the Agency's services and highlight its accomplishments to raise awareness and engagement.
  • Maintain adherence to the Agency Brand Guide across all materials, preserving consistency in messaging and visual identity.
  • Oversee the creation of all printed materials, ensuring timely production and high quality in all outputs.
  • Plan, coordinate and execute special events that bolster the Agency's presence in the community while advocating for its mission.
  • Develop comprehensive communication strategies that utilize multiple platforms, including digital, social media, and print.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with media representatives, preparing effective press releases that promote the Agency's work.
  • Contribute to the development of outreach plans and actively represent the Agency at designated outreach events.
  • Serve as the Agency's representative at local events, meetings, and other networking opportunities.
  • Respond to inquiries from the media, ensuring a consistent and informed message regarding the Agency.
  • Write and refine original content for the Agency's website, ensuring it is interactive, accurate, and regularly updated.
  • Generate new web content, including articles and fresh pages, to keep the website relevant and engaging.
  • Work alongside web design teams to facilitate enhancements to the website's design and functionality.
  • Minimum Qualifications :

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Communications, English, Public Relations, Journalism, or another related field.
    • 1-3 years of experience in community relations and / or communications
    • Salary / Compensation : $50,000 - $58,000 per year
