We are seeking a hard working candidate to help our third shift baker.

In this position you will learn how to bake all of our morning product and assist our current baker with more strenuous tasks.

After learning the position, you may be required to bake without supervision if our main baker is unavailable - these shifts would be full time equivalent.

The ideal candidate will have a strong baking background and would want to take over for our current baker when he eventually retires.

This is a physically demanding job, to be considered you must be able to :

  • lift 55 lbs
  • carry 25 lbs up and down stairs
  • repeatedly bend over to transfer product from mixing bowls to pales

    • Additional requirements :

  • ability to work well under supervision and independently
  • conscientious of workplace cleanliness and food production hygiene standards
  • willing to make additional products and perform additional tasks as required to support other production shifts

    • Competitive applicants will have :

  • attention to quality and detail
  • the desire to pursue baking as a career

    • Experience :

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong baking background with at least 3 years of experience.
  • At least 1-3 years baking experience is preferred, but we would consider training candidates with no baking experience if they were otherwise exceptional.

    • Hours : Third shift

  • Full time, 30-40 hours / week. 11 : 00 pm - 6 am Monday - Friday. End times may vary
  • Part time, 20-29 hours / week. Sometime between 11 : 00 pm - 6 am Monday - Friday. All days required, start and end time negotiable. May be required to work full time equivalent if lead baker is unavailable.

    • Pay : $16 - $18 per hour
