Responsibilities

• Setup and operation of audiovisual system at events scheduled in the Student Union, Student Services Building, Askew Student Life Center, and additional locations managed by Campus Event Services.
• Maintain accurate inventory of audiovisual equipment, including microphones, microphone stands, audio consoles, speakers, projectors, televisions, cabling (XLR, auxiliary, ¼ inch, HDMI, SDI, DMX, etc.), adapters, lights, lighting consoles and batteries.
• Ensure all audiovisual equipment is in good working order and immediately report any equipment or systems needing repair to your direct supervisor.
• Send detailed messages to the Campus Event Services pro staff as needed.

This is a technical event support position with a high degree of responsibility in the area of event audio / visual support. The role of the Audio / Visual Assistant is to meet the needs of Student Union guests by providing technical support for their events.

Anticipated Salary Range

The hourly rate for this position is $14.00.
