License : Certification / licensure required to work as an Ultrasound Tech.

Certifications : BLS, RVT, RDMS (Graduate from an accredited DMS program or ARRT or DMS Certification).

Must-Have : Breast, ABD, Client, Small Parts, Vascular, Biopsy experience.

Description :

We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technician for our Radiology department.

The Ultrasound Technician will perform sonographic examinations and procedures as requested by the referring physician.

The role requires the delivery of care and services while maintaining a clean and orderly work area.

The technician will notify the supervisor of any needed supplies.

It is essential to maintain equipment to ensure accuracy and longevity.

The technician must provide age-appropriate care to all patients.

The role includes acting as a resource for physicians and staff regarding the appropriateness and accuracy of scans.

The position requires the ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Experience with biopsy procedures, including thyroid, breast, lymph node, prostate, as well as para and thoracentesis, is preferred.

This position serves a patient population of all ages.

Professional attire in any color is expected.

Casual wear is not acceptable.
