Summary of Position

Lionsgate is seeking an experienced music attorney to work in its music legal and music business affairs departments. The successful candidate should have experience handling a wide range of music agreements. This person will work with and provide counsel and advice to applicable company executives on music issues.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the negotiation, drafting, administration and managing to conclusion of various music agreements and other documents for the creation and / or exploitation of original and / or licensed musical compositions and recordings for use in motion picture, television and new media projects.
• Provide all music legal and business affairs services to the TV Music and Film Music departments. Advise and help problem-solve music issues with other client groups including Acquisitions, Co-Productions, Legal Delivery, Credits, Marketing, HomeEntertainment, Location-Based Entertainment, International and Post-Production.

Compensation

$50.48 / hr. - $62.50 / hr. ($105,000 - $130,000 annualized)
