Control Panels USA is seeking an Instrumentation Specialist to join our growing team in Georgetown, Tx
This role will be the SME on instrumentation for CP USA and will be responsible for reviewing specifications & contract drawings to select appropriate instrumentation, accessories to fit project applications. Creating datasheets, calibration reports, assembly, installation, testing & certifying installation per contract specifications & creating any final reports needed for O&M. This role will be located at our Georgetown, Tx office.

Duties & Responsibilities
Act as the subject matter expert for external and internal clients on instrumentation selection and analysis.Lead and prepare instrumentation engineering / design deliverables, including Instrument Index, Instrument Data Sheets, Instrument Installation Details, Instrument Location Plans, reviewing Wiring Diagrams, and Loop Diagrams.Interpret and check varied instrumentation and engineering diagrams, vendor supplied drawings, specifications, and schematics.Review submittals, any relevant documents, testing results and applicable drawings or specifications.Performs calibration & documentation of purchased equipment prior to commissioning and provide start-up support.Responsible for applying knowledge of commonly used I&C engineering / design concepts, principles, practices, codes, and procedures within the engineering services industryWork with purchasing managing vendor relationships, attaining vendor quotes and best pricing.Any other task, assignments, duty, or projects, as requested by managementDesired Skills & Experience :
2+ years of experience in relative Instrumentation experienceExperience with Instrument Specifications and Data Sheet CreationExperience with Field Instrument Installation RequirementsExperience with P&ID’sWide knowledge of multiple models and manufactures of instrumentation, including temperature, pressure, flow, and analytical instrumentation such as turbidity, chlorine, pH, DO, etc.Understand the principles of operations, terminology, safety considerations, and applications for standard analytical instrumentsExcellent planning, organization, and follow-through skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProactive and creative problem-solving skills and ability to evaluate options, analyze complex problems, and present possible solutions in a simple, easily understood mannerDemonstrated ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentDetail orientedAbility to handle multiple projects and deadlinesExcellent customer service skillsDemonstrated ability to maintain a positive, professional attitudeTechnically savvy, comfortable navigating Microsoft office programsExperience with control panel electrical wiring a plusIT networking experience a plusKnowledge of networks and basic electronic troubleshooting skills are a plusTravel requirements of up to 20%Physical Requirements :
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, sit and stand. The employee will occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.
