Responsibilities Work in an acute care hospital operating room setting Responsibilities include both scrub and circulating duties for operative procedures 10-hour shifts starting at 6 : 30 AM with days to be determined upon arrival On-call required for nights and weekends, 7 to 10 shifts per month, including 12-hour weekend shifts Applicants must reside at least 100 miles from the facility No local candidates are permitted (must live beyond 50 miles) Expected to adhere to aseptic techniques and operating room standards Prepare and assemble equipment and supplies necessary for surgical procedures Coordinate and communicate patient care plans with the surgical team and serve as a liaison for patients and their families Must ensure all equipment is functional and required implants or special supplies are available prior to procedures Holiday and weekend coverage required as scheduled Requirements Active NV RN license required at time of consideration Minimum two years of operating room RN acute care experience in a US hospital required Current certifications : BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA only) CPI certification mandated by position Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred Travel nursing experience preferred Two professional references from managers or supervisors preferred, one from the most recent employer US Social Security Number required Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-619396.
