About The Position

Experience : Minimum 5 years experience required, flexible for candidates with strong experience in spinal and neuro cases.

License : NC RN license

Certifications : BLS required, CNOR preferred but not required

Must-Have : Strong experience in spinal and neuro cases

Description :

Licensed for 457 beds.

Level 3 Trauma center.

Stroke Center of Excellence.

Bariatric Center of Excellence.

Chest Pain Center.

Mainly spinal and neuro patients.

Department has 19 OR suites, with 17 rooms being blocked.

Average of 50 cases per day.

Service Line Clinical Supervisors, Charge Nurses, Educators, OR Assistants, Unit Secretaries, and Tech Engineers provide support within the department.

Unit specific equipment includes typical OR equipment.

There is no floating required for this position.

The manager is open to other shifts / hours per week if the candidate is willing.

Possible schedules include 5-8s, 4-10s, or 3-12s.

Schedule cycle is every 6 weeks.

Scrub colors are provided.

Department culture is centered around operating room dynamics.
