Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with ARRT and BLS certifications, and at least 1 year of recent CT experience including Epic EMR use within the last 12 months.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is in a CT department performing CT scans, CTA scans, brain perfusion, and trauma scans
  • Patient population includes trauma and general diagnostic cases
  • Uses GE CT scanners and PACS system
  • Schedules are 12 : 00 PM to 12 : 00 AM on Saturday and Sunday, with an optional third 12-hour shift during the week
  • Floating to other departments may be required
  • Responsibilities include performing a variety of CT procedures including trauma and perfusion scans
  • Locals and first-time travelers are accepted at the same rate
  • All certifications must be in hand for consideration
  • Must pass an Epic EMR competency exam on first attempt
  • No block or schedule requests will be accommodated
  • All requested time off must be submitted with application; additional requests will not be approved
  • Additional required orientation hours may apply if lacking recent Epic experience
  • Return travelers will be subject to review per client policy

  • Current ARRT certification and BLS required
  • CT registry preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year CT experience required
  • Experience with GE CT scanners, trauma, CTA, brain perfusion, and PACS
  • Epic EMR experience within the last 12 months required; candidates without this must complete 10 hours of orientation
  • Valid TN or Compact State License required if applicable
  • Two professional references required for consideration
  • Must be able to pass a facial fit test (no facial hair for male candidates)
