Emerald Crest of Minnetonka Caregiver Position

Emerald Crest of Minnetonka is hiring dedicated caregivers (CNA / HHA / PCA) to join our team who care for memory care residents in home-like settings. As a caregiver, you will provide person-centered care to our residents, supporting them with their activities of daily living (ADLs) such as showering / bathing, shampooing of hair, and medication administration while promoting dignity, independence, and well-being. Position Type : Part-Time

Available Shifts (including every other weekend) : Evenings (PM) 3 : 00pm to 11 : 00pm

Pay : $20.00 - $24.38 / hour depending on experience.

Caregiver Responsibilities :

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living.
  • Assist the resident with personal care which may include the following : shampooing of hair, assist with showering / bathing, fingernail and foot care, and medication administration.
  • Aide in programming and activities with residents.
  • Monitor the safety and wellbeing of our residents.
  • Prepare meals.
  • Light housekeeping
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Caregiver Qualifications :

  • Needs to have at least 1 year of experience as a Caregiver (Home Health Aide (HHA), Personal Care Attendant (PCA), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA))
  • Experience with medication passing is preferred.
  • We are willing to train the right candidate on medication administration.
  • A passion for geriatric care.
  • Strong interpersonal and social skills are vital.
  • Good customer service instincts will be important in interacting with family members and visitors.
