About The Position

Job Title : Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Specialty : Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day 4x10-Hour or Night 4x10-Hour

Hours per Shift : 10 hours

Experience : Minimum of 2 years in Adult Echo; pediatric experience preferred

License : Valid Allied license required

Certifications : BLS, CCI RCS, RDCS, or equivalent specialty certification accepted

Must-Have :

Adult echo experience with TEE and TAVR.

Pediatric experience is preferred.

2 years of charge experience preferred.

Experience with a patient ratio of 1 : 1.

Travel experience is required.

Description :

The position requires an Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer with a minimum of 2 years of experience.

The candidate will perform adult echocardiograms and may also handle pediatric cases when necessary.

The role includes transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) and transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) procedures.

Weekend work is required on a rotating basis.

Candidates must have experience with the Epic charting system.

Additional skills include proficiency in 2-D and 3-D echo, color Doppler, continuous wave Doppler, and M-mode.

Knowledge of scanning complex anomalies and handling procedures in ICU / ED settings is essential.

The position will involve a patient mix including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

Staffing and scheduling may include floating within the facility.

Candidates must be prepared for rotating weekend shifts as part of their duty.

References are required from supervisory contacts covering relevant experience within the last three years.

All candidates should clearly communicate their interview availability and ensure a flexible approach to scheduling.
