Intensive Care Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM

Experience :

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 36 months of Intensive Care Unit experience.
• 3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
• ASN completion required

Requirements :

40 miles from facility to be submitted.

Additional Details :

Required Skills / Experience Two-three (2-3) years prior (strong) Med ICU or ICU experience required.

Must have strong experience with central lines, ventilators and ICU Cardiac Telemetry.

Must be competent to administer blood transfusions.

CEU Contact Stroke 4 Hours.

Sedation / paralytics - strong understanding of sedation / spontaneous breathing trials for mechanical ventilation

Arterial line

Swan ganz

Phlebotomy, arterial blood gas specimen collection

Central line management - strong peripheral IV accessability

Chest tubes

Bladder management / straight catheterization

CRRT

Preferred Credentials : Preferred Education : BSN.

Unit / Facility Details : Failed fit tests due to facial hair and the inability to shave automatically disqualifies clinician from proceeding.

Special Requests : Cannot guarantee block schedules or special requests

Shift & Scheduling : Every other weekend and holidays as scheduled are required.

Holidays Required as Needed based on unit need - eve / day - with consideration and within reason for work life balance for holiday needs

Floating Requirements : Float Requirement to like ICUs Required

7 days maximum time off
