About The Position

Job Title : Outpatient Physical Therapist

License : Valid state license required for submission.

Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Description :

Therapists can choose five 8-hour days or four 10-hour days.

Each therapist's schedule includes 14 evaluations per week, with the remainder being treatment sessions.

Chart review time is allocated twice a day for 30 minutes during 8-hour shifts and three times per day for 30 minutes during 10-hour shifts.

Patients are seen one on one in a free-standing outpatient facility.

Evaluations are scheduled for 60 minutes, while most treatments are either 30 or 45 minutes depending on individual circumstances.

The caseload consists of approximately 70% orthopedic patients and 30% neurological patients.

Specialists include a pelvic health therapist, lymphedema therapists, a chronic pain therapist, and a vestibular therapist.

The facility handles a wide variety of diagnoses and accommodates multidisciplinary needs.

Epic training will be provided during the onboarding process.

Clinical staff consists of physical therapists (PTs), physical therapist assistants (PTAs), occupational therapists (OTs), and speech-language pathologists (SLPs).

Structured charting time will be offered during the initial weeks of service to assist with workload adjustment.

Business casual attire is expected.

Each week typically features 3 evaluations; productivity standards are set at 65%.

Candidates will float within their service line but not to other facilities.

References are required and should include supervisory feedback over the past two years.

Compliance measures must be observed, including ongoing education and certification upkeep.

No local candidates will be accepted within a specified radius.

All staff are expected to adhere to the facility's policies and procedures.
