Oracle Utilities Cloud Consultant

Location : Remote with occasional travel (as required by client)

Type : Contract

Overview

Mako s Utilities client is seeking an experienced Oracle Utilities Cloud Consultant to support a critical digital transformation initiative focused on customer engagement, asset management, and field service operations. The consultant will play a key role in implementing and integrating Oracle Cloud solutions specifically Customer Cloud Service (CCS), Work and Asset Cloud Service (WACS), and Oracle Field Service (OFS) across a multi-utility environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead or support full lifecycle implementation efforts including configuration, integration, testing, and post-go-live optimization
  • Customize and configure Oracle Utilities Cloud applications based on functional and technical requirements
  • Drive implementation and optimization of Oracle CCS, WACS, and OFS modules
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions for business users and technical teams
  • Collaborate with integration partners to ensure seamless connectivity with ERP (e.g., SAP), GIS, AMI, and other platforms
  • Develop functional specifications, process flows, training materials, and other documentation
  • Support change management, post-go-live stabilization, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with internal governance, data security, and utility industry regulations

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in Oracle Utilities, including at least 2+ years working with Oracle CCS, WACS, and OFS (cloud versions)
  • Strong knowledge of utility processes including customer service, billing, asset lifecycle management, and field operations
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and REST API integrations
  • Exposure to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and SaaS delivery models
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with proven ability to collaborate across teams

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Oracle Utilities Cloud Certifications (CCS, WACS, OFS)
  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum-based delivery environments
  • Familiarity with utility data standards such as CIM and ISO
