2nd Shift Machine Operator

Since 1919, our innovative tools have made an important contribution to the technological development in many industries.  Radiac is looking for an employee to join our second Shift Production team at our Oswego, IL facility.

Pay Range for this position is $19.50 to $21.00 per hour.

This person will be responsible to operate a manual machine by following work instructions in order to meet production goals and quality standards.

Responsibilities for the position include :

• Finishing turned parts from according to a given blueprint.
• Visually inspect product for burrs, damage, rust and other defects.
• Measuring product using prescribed gaging.
• Identifying the need for and complete tool changes as needed.
• Informing management of any maintenance issues or problems related to a job.
• Timely and accurate completion of all paperwork associated with production parts.
• Verifying piece count and traceability of product.
• Maintaining an organized and clean work area.
• Communicating all problems and other work-related issues with supervisor.
• Receiving, understanding and following all written and oral instruction.                                      Complying with all company policies and procedures in including safety and attendance requirements.
