Coverage Needed

  • Call shifts are mostly 24 hours from Friday 7 AM to Monday 7 AM
  • 7 / 1 / 25-Ongoing

Clinical Details

  • Practice Setting : Inpatient
  • Call Type : Beeper, for assigned patients
  • Average Call : 5-10 phone consults per 24 hours
  • Call Response Time Required : 30 minutes after notification
  • Patients Seen : 12-15
  • Call Back Percentage : Less than 10%
  • STEMI call is required
  • Facility is Chest Pain Accredited
  • Support services include EP and CV Surgery
  • 3 APPs assist with general rounding during the week
  • On-site nuclear stress test, echo, and cardiac rehab
  • EMR System : MediTech
  • Beds in Department : 138 hospital
  • Rounding : Assigned Patients
  • Generally no outpatient caths required, only inpatient (approximately 30 heart cath cases are scheduled from inpatients)

  • Fellowship Required
  • Arkansas License
  • ACLS, BLS
