About the job

Join a creative indie team as a sound designer for a fantasy RPG currently in Early Access. You will be responsible for designing and implementing immersive sound effects, including environmental ambience, character audio, magical spells, and other genre-appropriate sounds. The role requires you to audit the existing audio, suggest and apply improvements, and create new sounds for upcoming content. You will collaborate closely with the development team, using FMOD to integrate your work, and are expected to take initiative in proposing creative audio solutions for new areas and enemies. Flexibility is essential, as meetings may occur on weekends and schedules will align with the pace of game development. This is a part-time, as-needed contract role, ideal for someone who thrives in a small, passionate indie environment.
