This role allows you to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in the comfort of patients homes, supporting them and their families during critical moments.

- Duration : 13 weeks with the possibility of extension upon successful completion
- Hours : Full-Time, Scheduled 40 hours per week-32 hours guaranteed
- Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm, occasional weekends, and on-call (typically once per month)
- Productivity : 25 per week, 30-35 visits per week
- Compensation : Negotiable based on territory and candidate experience; paid hourly - not by visit; blended pay packages available for travelers; weekly paychecks.
- Benefits : .49c mileage reimbursement, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k eligibility after 90 days

ActiveRegistered Nurse (RN)License in the state of VirginiaActive American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationProficiency in Oasis and Homecare Homebase requiredMinimum 1 year of hospice experience working in the fieldReliable transportationJob Duties :
Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes or care facilities, focusing on comfort, symptom management, and quality of life.Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized care plans, and update patient records according to hospice policies.Administer medications and treatments, monitor patient conditions, and promptly report changes to the interdisciplinary team.Educate patients and families on disease progression, symptom management, and end-of-life care options.Collaborate with physicians, social workers, chaplains, and other team members to ensure holistic, patient-centered care.Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and families, addressing physical, psychological, and spiritual needs.Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and quality improvement initiatives to ensure the maintenance of high standards of care.Location Details : Wytheville, VA, is a charming town nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains, known as the Crossroads of the Blue Ridge for its central location at the intersection of two major interstates. It offers a friendly small-town atmosphere, scenic mountain views, and unique attractions.
Important Note : As this is a contract position with limited training provided, only candidates with at least one year of home health experience and demonstrated proficiency in OASIS and Homecare Homebase (HCHB) will be considered.
