Previous laboratory or production experience is a plus, but not required. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs). Basic computer skills and familiarity with data entry. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Role : Lab Tech Aide - 2nd Shift
Location : Altavista, VA - 24517
Duration : 09 Months
Shift : 3 : 00 PM to 11 : 30 PM
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in the preparation, labeling, and documentation of lab samples.
- Support laboratory technicians and scientists in conducting routine tests and procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory, including washing glassware and restocking supplies.
- Accurately log data and update records in lab management systems.
- Ensure proper storage and disposal of laboratory materials and chemicals.
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment as instructed.
- Follow all safety and quality protocols and report any deviations or hazards immediately.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support lab operations during the 2nd shift.
