ICX Group is recruiting for a VP, Information Systems for a great organization located in Jacksonville, FL. Our client is looking for a candidate who will bring a wealth of expertise in technology strategy, network infrastructure, cybersecurity and IT compliance programs. This role will work closely with the executive team and operations to align technology initiatives with overall business objectives.

Job Duties : Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive multi-year technology roadmap aligned with the company's strategic goals.
  • Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to drive business growth and gain a competitive edge.
  • Lead digital transformation efforts including automation, cloud migration, and AI-driven analytics.
  • Drive innovation across products and services to ensure scalability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

Operational Management

  • Establish key performance indicators and metrics to assess the success of technology initiatives.
  • Optimize the technology budget to balance innovation and cost-efficiency with strong ROI.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity best practices, industry regulations, and cloud governance.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, ISO 27001, NIST).
  • Oversee infrastructure to maintain reliability, scalability, and security.
  • Support M&A activities including diligence and integration planning.

    • Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support

  • Collaborate with sales and operations to deliver scalable tech solutions that improve customer experience and competitiveness.
  • Work across departments to enable data-driven decision-making and ensure technology supports growth, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Create tools and processes to improve data reporting for strategic initiatives.

    • Product Development & Innovation

  • Lead the development and deployment of real-time asset monitoring, data analytics, and reporting platforms.
  • Champion the use of business intelligence to enhance commercial and operational performance.
  • Implement strong data governance and master data management frameworks.
  • Continuously evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to improve operations and productivity.

    • Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Act as a key technology advisor to senior leadership.
  • Align technology strategies with business goals across divisions.
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure effective partnerships and cost-efficient procurement.

    • Job Requirements :

  • Bachelor or Master degree in IT Management, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred)
  • 8- 10+ years of progressive experience in technology roles focused on strategy and operations
  • NetSuite experience required
  • Experience with IoT platforms, real-time data analytics, and cloud computing
  • Deep knowledge of cybersecurity, software development, and enterprise architecture
  • Hands-on leadership style with the ability to shift between strategic and tactical priorities
  • Demonstrated success in managing technology budgets and delivering high-ROI projects
