Radiology Physician

Position Overview

An outpatient Women's Center is seeking a Board-Certified Breast Radiologist (or experienced General Radiologist with strong breast imaging skills) to provide locum coverage for a 6-month assignment. This role focuses on screening and diagnostic mammography in a busy outpatient setting.

Candidates must reside in New Jersey, New York, or Philadelphia to be considered.

Assignment Highlights

Dates : 11 / 28 / 2025 - 6 / 30 / 2026 (6 months)

Schedule : 5 days / week, 40 hours per week

No Call : Outpatient only, no after-hours requirements

Daily Volume :

20-30 screening mammograms / day

10 diagnostic reads / day

Procedures : None required

Support : Work alongside other radiologists and outpatient staff

Facilities : Coverage at both Riverview Medical Center and Bay Shore Medical Center

Credentialing : Required at both facilities; expedited onboarding supported by HPA Healthcare

Agency Note : HPA Healthcare is Joint Commission-certified. Travel, lodging, and malpractice are fully covered.

Pay Ranking : This assignment ranks in the Top 15-20% nationally for breast imaging locums compensation

Skills & Experience

MD or DO, Board-Certified in Radiology

Fellowship training in Breast Imaging (preferred) OR General Radiologist with significant breast imaging experience

Strong background in screening & diagnostic mammography ; breast MRI experience preferred

Active NJ medical license, DEA, CDS (required)
