About the Role :
As the Senior Manager of Security & Loss Prevention, you will take ownership of the companys physical security strategy, ensuring the protection of our warehouses, office locations, and assets while fostering a safe and secure working environment for all employees. You will lead the development and implementation of proactive loss prevention procedures, crisis response protocols, and risk mitigation strategies that safeguard our people and operations.
In this role, youll serve as the first and last line of defenseanalyzing risk, managing budgets, and driving initiatives that reduce exposure across the supply chain. With a strong ability to zoom out for strategic oversight and zoom in on operational details, youll collaborate cross-functionally, communicate effectively, and continuously improve our security posture in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
What You Will Do :
- Conduct a thorough yearly risk assessment and security audit to identify vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify areas of risk and develop strategies to mitigate them; inclusive of educating departments and employees on best practices.
- Develop and implement global security policies, procedures and mitigation strategies to ensure the safety of our assets
- Monitor and investigate any suspicious activity within the companys premises utilizing CCTV, alarms, access control systems, etc.
- Maintain accurate records of all security-related incidents.
- Investigate incidents of theft, vandalism, or other security breaches, gather evidence, create incident reports, and liaise with 3rd parties as applicable (i.e. logistics providers, partners, suppliers, law enforcement, etc.).
- Conduct internal investigations on employee misconduct, violations of security policies, or breaches of trust.
- Stay up to date on emerging security trends, technologies, and best practices and make recommendations on adopting new processes or tools.
- Prepare and present regular reports to management, highlighting security risks and providing recommendations for improvements along with budget implications.
- Ensure compliance with all fixed storage location security warranties and requirements stipulated inclusive of our corporate security Policy, Partner requirements and insurance policies.
- Ensure Site Security Managers maintain up-to-date detailed operational status report for security alarm systems, CCTV systems, physical security barriers and access control systems at their facility.
- Partner with the logistics team to improve SOPs and to ensure compliance.
- In the event of any losses, ensure proper documentation of claims (above and below the deductible) stemming from in-transit, fixed location losses and other perils such as fire, earthquake, windstorm and flood.
- Review (as applicable) third party service agreements / contracts to ensure documented operational standards / processes will mitigate our risk and comply with our own insurance terms and conditions.
We Are Seeking People Who :
Bachelors degree in criminal justice, Security Management, or a related field10+ years of experience with both management and global experience.Proficient in using security systems and software, such as CCTV, access control, and incident tracking systems.In-depth knowledge of security practices, procedures, and policies.Skills & Abilities :
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills withAttention to detail.Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.Excellent communications skills including but not limited to documenting of processes and procedures.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.The ability to travel both domestically and internationally ~30% of your time.Nice to Have :
