Position Summary :
The Branch Manager oversees daily operations of a specific MCC campus, serving as the point person for staff, students, compliance, payroll, billing, contract renewals, and externship coordination. This role ensures that the branch runs smoothly, remains compliant with California and federal education regulations, and meets enrollment, retention, and student success goals. The Branch Manager reports directly to the Executive Director.
Key Responsibilities :
Operational & Administrative
- Manage day-to-day campus operations, including office management, scheduling, and facilities oversight.
- Oversee billing, payroll, and financial processes at the branch level.
- Manage contract renewals, externship agreements, and vendor relationships.
- Generate reports for the Executive Director, highlighting enrollment, retention, and operational metrics.
Staff Supervision & HR
Hire, train, and supervise branch-level staff, including administrative assistants, instructors, and student services personnel.Conduct performance reviews, coaching, and professional development for staff.Foster a positive, inclusive campus culture aligned with MCC values.Student Support & Compliance
Ensure students receive onboarding, advising, and support services.Serve as the escalation point for student complaints or grievances.Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations, including BPPE and accreditation standards.Track and report student outcomes, externship placements, and graduation rates.Community & Partnerships
Build relationships with local employers for externships and job placement opportunities.Represent the campus in community outreach, recruitment events, and marketing initiatives.Qualifications :
Proven experience in office or campus management, education administration, or related fields.Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.Experience supervising staff and managing budgets, payroll, billing, or contracts.Familiarity with California education laws and vocational training compliance preferred.Bachelors degree preferred but not required; relevant experience can substitute.
