Responsibilities :

• Perform month-end close procedures, ensuring accuracy and completing tasks within the close period.
• Prepare and post journal entries while maintaining detailed records and supporting documentation.
• Reconcile balance sheets and bank accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
• Assist in the preparation and filing of tax documents, adhering to all regulatory requirements.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights for budgeting and forecasting.
• Utilize Excel extensively for financial reporting and data analysis, working with complex spreadsheets.
• Collaborate with the team on general ledger management and ensure proper coding of transactions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including potential software transitions and process optimizations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in month-end close processes, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Proficiency in Excel, with the ability to manage complex spreadsheets and formulas.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and tax filing requirements.
• CPA or MBA is a plus
• Previous experience working in manufacturing is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and maintain accuracy.
• Leadership potential demonstrated through project management or team collaboration.
