Job Title : Medical Director / Physician in Addiction Medicine

Organization : PA Treatment & Healing (PATH)

Location : Pennsylvania (Hybrid – In-Person & Virtual)

Position Type : Contractual (20–25 hours per week to start, with potential to expand)

PA Treatment & Healing (PATH) is a dedicated provider of Substance Use Disorder (SUD) counseling and Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) services across Pennsylvania. Our mission is to provide compassionate, evidence-based care that empowers individuals on their path to recovery.

Position Overview :

PATH is seeking a Medical Director / Physician certified in Addiction Medicine to join our multidisciplinary team. This position will provide both in-person and virtual medical services to individuals enrolled in SUD counseling and MAT programs. The role is contractual in nature, with specific terms to be defined during the interview process.

The Medical Director will collaborate with our clinical team to oversee treatment planning, review and guide clinical documentation, and ensure compliance with best practices in addiction medicine.

Qualifications :

  • CRNP with active license in Pennsylvania.
  • Board Certification in Addiction Medicine required.
  • Strong knowledge of SUD treatment, MAT protocols, and the needs of this population.
  • Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills.

Position Details :

  • Contractual role, 20–25 hours per week to start, with opportunity to expand hours over time.
  • Approximately 4 in-office days per month; remaining hours remote.
  • Some travel may be required.
  • Compensation and terms to be discussed during interview.
  • Requirements :

    Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide medical oversight and direct patient care for individuals enrolled in MAT and SUD counseling services.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team in reviewing and overseeing treatment planning and clinical documentation.
  • Ensure that care provided meets the highest clinical, ethical, and professional standards.
  • Conduct in-person visits (approximately 4 days per month) with the remainder of hours fulfilled remotely.
  • Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and quality assurance processes as required.
  • Remain current with developments in addiction medicine and regulatory guidelines.
  • Potential travel to program sites as needed.
