Description

Material Handler Position

Key Responsibilities :

• Maintain material handling equipment by noting and reporting any damage or malfunction
• Responsible for proper charging of electrical material handling equipment
• Load / unload product and raw material to / from trailers
• Ensure material is delivered to appropriate workstations in a timely fashion
• Place incoming items in inventory
• Be a team member of the inventory team
• Ensure proper placement of inventory and accuracy of inventory transactions and cycle counts

Skills :

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred

2+ years of material handling experience

SAP experience preferred

Ability to balance multiple priorities

Proven communication skills

Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner

Open and versatile in accepting and accomplishing a wide variety of tasks

Department and Supervisor : The Material Handler will be a member of the Manufacturing team reporting to the Manufacturing Manager.
