job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide real-time controls support to technicians in the field Set clear expectations for delivery and outcomes, both internally and externally Mentor and collaborate with team members of various disciplines and experience levels 5+ years of Controls Engineering experience in industrial settings 2+ years of leadership experience (process or people) Bachelor's in Electrical / Controls Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience Deep knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, Fanuc, RSLogix, Siemens, etc. Proficiency in electrical schematics, panel design, wiring, and troubleshooting Strong communication, analytical thinking, and customer-facing skills Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed Hands-on service experience with machines of varying ages and OEMs CAD / CAM or control panel building experience A personal passion for building things, solving problems, and helping others grow
Primary Responsibilities :
- Design and engineer custom control systems for industrial automation
- Program PLCs, HMIs, CNCs, and troubleshoot ladder logic and legacy systems
- Lead project scopes from concept through implementation, including upgrades and retrofits
- Deliver exceptional customer communication, training, and ongoing support
- Identify and solve control-related issues across a wide range of equipment
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and modern control strategies
