Medical Assistant (Full-Time, Multiple Locations)

We are seeking a full-time Medical Assistant for our Washington, D.C. and Falls Church, VA locations. This role will be responsible for greeting, registering, and scheduling patients while working closely with providers and staff to ensure an exceptional patient experience.

The Medical Assistant will assist medical providers in performing their duties and carrying out the necessary functions required in accordance with established policies and procedures. This includes both clinical and administrative responsibilities. The role follows a MondayFriday schedule, 8 : 00 AM 4 : 30 PM, with occasional Saturday shifts.

Job Responsibilities

Prepare patients for examinations (review medical history, document symptoms, update medications).

Record vital signs.

Assist medical providers with exams and procedures.

Administer medications and injections.

Perform phlebotomy.

Collect and prepare laboratory specimens (pathology, urine, fecal, blood samples).

Stock exam rooms with supplies.

Clean and sterilize medical instruments and equipment.

Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and complying with regulations.

Answer telephones, schedule appointments, take messages, and provide information.

Triage, review, and route test results.

Qualifications

High school diploma required; bachelors degree or equivalent training in healthcare or related field preferred.

Experience in a healthcare organization preferred but not required.
