Are you ready to lead with precision and tackle complex challenges? As a Field Engineer, you will drive project success by ensuring construction work meets all engineering standards, codes, and contract specifications.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Meet daily with project crews to review schedules and confirm materials, equipment, and resources are available to keep production on schedule and within budget.
  • Collect, coordinate, and analyze shop drawings, design specifications, material requirements, and project data to maintain quality and compliance.
  • Provide technical input for work plans and scheduling, identifying risk elements that could impact budget or schedule.
  • Track daily production, schedule, and budget projections to accurately monitor project performance.
  • Remit accurate project quantity inputs and controls using assigned cost coding, managing cost coding with finance and accounting teams regarding time, materials, equipment, and subcontractor needs.
  • Review and approve daily timecards for all construction crews, resolving inquiries with payroll and supervisors as needed.
  • Review project specifications for quality assurance at project start, during, and after completion, initiating and managing certificates, inspections, and documentation for construction production.
  • Plan field layout with crews and engineering leaders, marking utilities and commercial lines before production and managing required permits.
  • Assist in developing design drawings and provide technical input as needed.
  • Coordinate subcontractor work methods, schedules, and crews as required.

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field required.
  • 1+ year experience preferred.
  • Construction engineering experience or knowledge required.
  • Basic knowledge of construction equipment, techniques, drawings, specifications, building materials, and applicable standards.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

    USD $80,000.00 – $83,000.00  / Yr.

    Vehicle Program

    Personal Vehicle Allowance Tier I : $750 USD / month
