This is a unique opportunity to practice high-acuity pediatric emergency care while contributing to system-wide innovation, education, and leadership.

Job Duties

About the Team

At Geisinger, you’ll work alongside a dedicated, multidisciplinary team of pediatric emergency professionals, including :

Over 50 certified Pediatric Emergency Medicine nurses across the system

In-house Pediatric Hospitalists and Neonatologists available 24 / 7

Certified Child Life Specialists to support children and families during care

Advanced practice providers (APPs) and emergency medicine physicians

Fellowship-trained PEM physicians who lead initiatives in education, quality improvement, and clinical innovation

Collaborative subspecialty support from nearly every pediatric medical and surgical specialty within our 90-bed children’s hospital

A culture of team-based care , continuous learning, and shared decision-making

4-bed pediatric emergency zone at GWV designed for infants, children, and teens

20% pediatric admission rate and 8% critical care rate in the ED

1,544 clinical hours / year for optimal work-life balance

Compensation & Benefits

Starting salary : $350,000

Fellowship stipend : $2,500 / month from offer acceptance to graduation

Forgivable recruitment loan : $100,000 paid in the first month
