Work schedule : Monday – Friday, typically 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM, with some weekends and on-call events. Support development and implementation of electrical engineering standards, policies, procedures, and job aids, serving as the technical authority. Contribute to cross-functional teams to select and implement best practices and tools. Provide direct support and services to the organization. Lead planning and execution of electrical standards in capital projects. Develop and oversee the vision, strategy, and direction for electrical engineering. Identify gaps in applications and establish auditing controls. Recommend improvements to enhance performance and manage risks. Handle complex issues independently, escalating only the most challenging ones. Perform other duties as assigned. Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience. At least four years of relevant work experience. Lean Six Sigma certification or training. Project management and process safety management experience. Ten years of related work experience. Background in corn milling, oil and gas, petroleum, or mining industries. Mid-Senior level Full-time Other IT Services and IT Consulting

Base pay range
$120,000.00 / yr - $130,000.00 / yr

JOB PURPOSE AND IMPACT :
The Senior Electrical Engineer will provide technical support and specialist knowledge for overall governance of electrical engineering standards, applications, gaps, solutions, and measurements to increase production quality, efficiency, and volume for the business. In this role, you will participate in complex activities related to electrical engineering to enable projects and improve our capabilities by providing engineering support for the organization.
IDEAL CANDIDATE :
- Possesses an engineering bachelor's degree, in science, mechanical, or chemical engineering.
- Has an industrial electrical background with at least 4 years of manufacturing experience.
- Holds continuous improvement training or certification (e.g., Lean Six Sigma yellow, green, or black belt).
- Has experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams) and knowledge or experience with SAP system.
- Experience working on capital projects is a plus.
- Demonstrates the ability to work as part of a team and invest in organizational success.
- Is proactive and technically competent to solve problems independently.
