job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and procedures, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain a secure environment. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related issues. Document and report any irregularities, such as property damage, theft, or unusual occurrences, according to Allied Universal protocols. Monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain awareness of activities within the location. Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors to address inquiries and provide directions as needed. Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal supervisors to address security-related concerns or escalate incidents as required. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. - Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
