Our nonprofit client is looking for a Learning Experience Consultant to lead a detailed evaluation of learner journey, ensuring a seamless and effective experience for program participants. In this role, you will focus on improving touchpoints across our learner portal, website, and other areas to enhance usability, accessibility, and satisfaction. This position is 40hr / wk, 4+ months, remote.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct an in-depth analysis of the learner journey, from the initial website visit through program completion and ongoing support.
- Identify and map all learner touchpoints to uncover gaps, challenges, and opportunities for enhancement.
- Lead the development and implementation of improvements to the learner portal and website, prioritizing usability and accessibility.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including counselors, program staff, IT, and communications, to streamline processes and create a cohesive learner experience.
- Develop actionable strategies to increase engagement and reduce barriers within the learner journey.
- Define and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure learner satisfaction and ensure ongoing improvements.
- Create and maintain a comprehensive project plan, providing regular updates to leadership on progress, challenges, and outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience in learner experience management, user experience design, or customer journey mapping.
- Strong knowledge of usability principles, accessibility standards, and learner-centered design methodologies.
- Proficiency in project management, with excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and translate insights into practical solutions.
- Familiarity with educational technology, learner portals, or student support systems is highly desirable.
- Background in instructional design or instructional systems design is preferred.
