Locum - Physician - Radiology - Diagnostic Opportunity in Grass Valley, CA Summary : Sierra Nevada DHMF is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist with Mammography (biopsy) privileges! Must maintain qualifications throughout the entire assignment which includes MQSA Standards for 960 mammography studies interpreted every 24 months. Join a dynamic outpatient clinic located in front of the picturesque Sierra Nevada mountain range, with state-of-the-art facilities and a supportive staff atmosphere. Job Responsibilities : Read studies from all modalities, including diagnostic mammograms with breast biopsies. Perform required procedures such as mammograms, PET scans, and breast biopsies. Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and patient records. Collaborate with radiology techs, ultrasound techs, and other support staff to ensure seamless patient care. Provide coverage due to the resignation of a radiologist. Participate in interpreting radiological studies from emergency departments and inpatient settings. Qualifications : Board Certified or Board Eligible Required State License Required Residency required; No specific fellowship but must be able to perform diagnostic mammograms and biopsies BLS / ACLS and DEA required during credentialing Required Clean malpractice record preferred Availability at the time of name clear Required License and Certification Requirements : Valid State Medical License BLS and ACLS Certification DEA Registration Come experience the charm of Grass Valley, CA - a city rich in history and natural beauty.
