IBM MQ Administrator - z / OS

A company is looking for an IBM MQ Administrator - z / OS (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and upgrade IBM MQ queue managers and related components on z / OS

Monitor MQ performance, availability, and message flows; troubleshoot and resolve operational problems

Administer security policies and collaborate with cross-functional teams for integration and support

Required Qualifications

8+ years of hands-on experience with IBM MQ administration on z / OS

Strong knowledge of z / OS operating system, JCL, SMP / E, and mainframe utilities

Experience with MQ concepts including queue managers, queues, channels, and clustering

Familiarity with RACF or equivalent mainframe security tools

Proficiency in troubleshooting MQ and TCP / IP network issues
