The University of Minnesota's Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences is excited to invite applications for a Board Certified or Board-eligible psychiatrist to join our dynamic team in an Academic Track faculty Psychiatry Consult Liaison position . This is your chance to blend clinical excellence with academic pursuits!

Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will :

• Engage in Clinical Work : Serve as an inpatient psychiatrist, providing consultations across various medical specialties within the M Health Fairview system.
• Collaborate with a Multidisciplinary Team : Work alongside licensed mental health professionals and psychiatrists to deliver both in-person and virtual psychiatric consultations.
• Participate in Academic Activities : Dedicate time to publishing, research, mentoring, and quality improvement projects.
• Manage Patient Load : See 6 to 8 patients per clinical day, coordinating coverage with a supportive team.

We offer a competitive salary based on AAMC benchmarks, with a base salary range of $224,256 – $310,002 , commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include :
